MY ARTICLE PLAN/IDEAS

  • Main points --- Line between comedy and offence, are we allowed to laugh at someone else's reality?? Should we? Is that right?
  • Maybe just religion?????
  • Comedy is subjective, but needed in society
  • There is a thin line between comedy and offence
  • >>EVIDENCE<<
  • Religion --- Book of Mormon musical, potentially offensive but won nine Tonys. Some people walked out due to content. There are wars over religion, is it an appropriate topic to laugh at?
  • Offensive Religion Jokes--- What's the difference between a pizza and a Jew? A Jew doesn't scream when you put it in the oven.                                                                                          How many Jews can you fit into a limousine? About 50 in the ashtray.                              What's the difference between Jesus and a picture of Jesus? It only takes one nail to hang a picture.
  • AUDIENCE --- young adults, but sophisticated enough for adults
